World Cup

I, by no means would diminish the sport of soccer and those who play it. But as everyday Americans, how may of us care about whether the US won or lost. To some countries this is a BIG DEAL. To most of us in the USA, not so much. Agree? or not?

Big 12 or less will survive

As long as Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma are on board there will be a midwest major conferance. The Longhorns, Jayhawks and Sooners are the glue to what was the BIG 12.

Larry Fitzgerald rules

Arizona Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald initiated a restructure of his contract to free up space for his team. Possibly for AZ. to sign Anquin Boldin. How many athletes nowadays are not only willing but start and agree to such deals. He is not only the best WR in the NFL right now, but now also my favorite because he understands there is I in TEAM. Gotta love that guy. Go cardinals! By the way I'm a Chiefs fan who wishes we had a talent and disposition of a Fitzgerald at WR.

Vick signs with Eagles

Michael Vick has a new team and it's the Eagles. If he has truly turned his life around and is committed to the team I say its a good pickup. He could give D-coordinaters fits with a handfull ofpalys a game designed around him. Philly wildcat offense in the making right now. McNabb clearly is the starter, but Vick ought to see some snaps at Qb.

Will we ever see 0-16 again, 16-0

Before last seaona Lions I would have said no. But also before the the Patriots of 07' I would have said no to any team going 16-0. My reason was the salary cap. How could any team be so bad or so good in this era of NFL. Ownership, coaching, players or system. What's your answer and who will do either or these again? My prediction is it will be a long time, so I wil not bash on the franchises of today, or flatter them.

Stallworth is a killer

Whether it's with  gun, knife, fists or vehicle, you kill someone and its the same. He got behind the wheel under the influince and hit a human being. He should be treaded no diffrently than average joe. We all make mistakes but are also held accountable as should athletes.

Tyson not to Blame

As hard as his life has been, please do not post silly blogs about Mike Tyson. I'm saddened by the loss of his child. It could happen to anyone. He's an easy target for haters, but not now. Show some class. It was a 4 year old child. How would you feel?
